Tips: Check Gear and Accessory Compatibility With Your Bike
If you are a biker and want to buy gears or accessories online, the question that bothers you is – will it be compatible with my bike or motorcycle?
Very important question indeed. But how to know the answer before ordering the bike accessories you have selected?
I will reveal three different ways to solve this puzzle of compatibility issue.
1.Ask Question in “Customer Questions and Answers”:
You can ask the seller quoting your bike model and item you are interested in. Simple and easy. If you are wondering where to ask?
Best place is the “Customer Questions and Answers” section. If you visit any item in Amazon, you will find this section. Here browse the already asked questions and answers given.You may find that someone already answered your question before.
If your question is not answered, go and write your question. The seller and others will be happy to help you. Usually you will get required information before one or two days.

2. Check Compatibility Using Amazon Utility Tool:
Amazon provides a very useful utility tool to address the pain every online motorcycle accessory buyers feel.
If you visit any item from category “Motorbike Accessories and Parts”, one simple bar appears just like below.
First task would be to add your bike or car in your virtual Garage. It’s easy.
You need to select the type of your vehicle? Do you have car or Bike? Is it tough question to answer?
Once selecting type is done, go for brand.
That way you need to select from set of options given for Model Number and Variant also. If you are on a particular item “check fit” button will come, else “filter result” button will be enabled.
Press the button. It will add the vehicle to your garage and also show whether the selected item is compatible or not.
If it is not compatible then you will get page like following-
If you are not on a particular item, the item list will be filtered for your selected bike or car. Only those items will be shown which are compatible for your bike.
Is not it a cool feature? You can add multiple bikes in your garage and select the one you are interested for.
3. Ask Question in OEM Facebook Page or Social Media Page:
Now-a-Days, all manufacturer and big sellers maintain their Facebook and social media pages. This is part of digital presence and promotion. But you can leverage it and drop your query there.
Usually they are very prompt and provide the correct information.
